Managing Your Subscription
CompassForecasting makes it simple and transparent to handle your billing. Subscriptions are billed on a per-company basis, meaning you only pay for the specific Xero entities you are actively forecasting for.
Accessing the Billing Portal
To view or change your plan:
- Open the CompassForecasting sidebar.
- Navigate to the Utilities menu (the gear icon).
- Click Manage Subscription.
Because we use Stripe (the global industry standard for secure payments) to handle all our billing, clicking this button will securely teleport you out of the spreadsheet and directly into your dedicated Stripe Customer Portal.
What You Can Do in the Portal
Note: For security reasons, only the user who originally purchased the subscription has the authorization to access the billing portal for that company.
Once inside the Stripe portal, the subscription owner has full control over their billing:
- Cancel at Any Time: We don’t lock you into tricky, long-term contracts. If you only needed to forecast for a few months, you can cancel your subscription with a single click. There are no hidden fees, and you will retain full access to your forecasting tools until the very end of your current billing cycle.
- Change Your Plan: Decide you want to switch from monthly billing to our heavily discounted Annual plan? You can upgrade (or downgrade) your plan instantly right from the portal.
- Download Invoices & Receipts: Need a tax invoice to hand over to your bookkeeper? You can view your complete billing history and download official PDF invoices for every payment you’ve ever made.
- Update Payment Methods: Easily swap out an expiring credit card or change your default payment method to ensure your access isn’t accidentally interrupted.
